The five-day India Maritime Week (IMW) 2025, held from 27 to 31 October in Mumbai, under the theme “Uniting Oceans, One Maritime Vision”, underscored India’s ambition to emerge as a global maritime hub. IMW 2025 is the fourth in a series that started in 2016. Maritime Week 2025 was preceded by the Maritime India Summit (MIS) 2016 and 2021 (held virtually), and the Global Maritime India Summit (GMIS) 2023. The broad outcomes of the first three events are:
