Sanaa Alvira is a Japan Chair Fellow at the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) in Austria and a Research Associate at the Centre for Aerospace Power and Strategic Studies in India. Previously, she was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in the Department of Safeguards at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). She holds a Master of Arts in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, as well as a Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Sanaa serves as the Secretary of the International Student/Young Pugwash (ISYP) and holds a professional certification in nuclear security from the World Institute for Nuclear Security in Austria.
