Rajiv Bhatia is a Distinguished Fellow at Gateway House. He served as India’s Ambassador to Myanmar from 2002–05 and, earlier, as joint secretary heading the division in the Ministry of External Affairs that deals with relations with Myanmar. His book India-Myanmar Relations: Changing Contours (Routledge, 2016) received wide acclaim.
