Yoshihide Soeya is Professor Emeritus in the Faculty of Law at Keio University. He previously served as Director of the Institute of East Asian Studies and the Center for Contemporary Korean Studies. His research focuses on politics and security in East Asia, the Asia-Pacific, and the Indo-Pacific, as well as Japanese diplomacy and external relations.
