Vaishu Rai is Editorial Associate (Special Projects) at India’s World magazine. She is a former Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) fellow at PRS Legislative Research and has worked closely with four Members of Parliament, including the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and a former Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting. 

She is also an alumna of the U.S. Department of State. Her writing has appeared in publications such as The Hindu, The Indian Express, The New Indian Express, The Quint, Frontline and Outlook.
