Alexander Korolev

Alexander Korolev holds a PhD in Political Science and is Associate Professor and Associate Dean for Research at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University. He also serves as Deputy Head of the Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the Higher School of Economics. Alexander is an expert affiliated with the Russian International Affairs Council, the Valdai International Discussion Club, the Council on Foreign and Defence Policy, the BRICS Russia Expert Council, and the China-Eurasia Council for Political and Strategic Research (Yerevan, Armenia). He is a well-known Russian specialist in international relations in Eurasia, regional integration, security in the Asia-Pacific region, BRICS, Russia-ASEAN relations, and Russia’s Pivot to the East policy. He is the author of more than 80 academic and expert publications in Russian, English, Chinese, and Vietnamese. In 2018, Alexander was a Visiting Fellow at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, Harvard University (USA), and the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS Malaysia).
