On March 18, 2025, India’s World, in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine in India, had the honour of hosting H.E. Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, for a high-level, closed-door dialogue in New Delhi. The session brought together diplomats, scholars, and strategic affairs experts for a timely and in-depth exchange on the ongoing war in Ukraine and its global implications. At this critical juncture, Minister Sybiha offered frank insights into Ukraine’s evolving military strategy, the staggering humanitarian and economic costs, and the country’s path toward reconstruction and resilience. The conversation also explored broader geopolitical shifts, including U.S. and European engagement, Russia’s alignment with North Korea, and the weaponisation of energy and supply chains. As Ukraine continues to defend its sovereignty and international law, the discussion underscored the growing relevance of India–Ukraine relations in an increasingly interdependent security landscape.
