What happened:
On January 21, 2026, NUkler Products, a Slovakia–India joint venture, submitted an Expression of Interest to develop a Small Modular Reactor (SMR) clean energy project in Telangana, with a proposed capacity of up to 300 MW and an estimated investment of €600 million. The EOI was shared with the Telangana Rising delegation led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy during engagements linked to WEF Davos 2026.
