Dr Stephen R. Nagy is Professor of Politics and International Studies at the International Christian University in Tokyo, Senior Fellow and China Project Lead at the Macdonald Laurie Institute (MLI)), and Director of Policy Studies at YCAPS. The title of his forthcoming book is “Japan as a Middle Power State: Navigating Ideological and Systemic Divides.”

Dr. Saroj Kumar Rath is an Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi. His research focuses on India’s foreign policy, maritime security, and regional cooperation, particularly the evolution of India–Japan strategic relations.

Gayatri Singh holds a B.A. (Research) in International Relations from Shiv Nadar University and has interned at India’s World magazine and the Indian Council of World Affairs. Her research interests include security studies, geopolitics, and human rights.

Torunika Roy is a Research Assistant to the Korea Chair at the Council for Strategic and Defense Research (CSDR), New Delhi. She is also pursuing her PhD at the Centre for East Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, with a focus on gender, demographics, and security in East Asia.
