Aleksandr Kuzmenchuk is a former Fulbright-Nehru scholar at Ashoka University. Floris Harm is Leiden Asia Centre’s managing director. Mr Harm has an MA in China studies and Political Science from Leiden University and Peking University. Before joining Leiden Asia Centre, he worked for various media as China correspondent in Beijing and as news reporter and Asia editor for NOS RTV.

Rajesh Rajagopalan teaches international politics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His main areas of research and writing are international relations theory, security studies and Indian foreign and security policies.

Nicholas J. Wheeler is Professor of International Relations in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Birmingham (UoB) and a non-resident Senior Fellow at BASIC where he works on BASIC’s Nuclear Responsibilities Programme with special reference to India-Pakistan nuclear relations. His research areas are International Relations and Strategic/Security Studies.
