STEVEN EVERTS is Director of the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS), appointed in 2023. He previously served as Senior Advisor at the European External Action Service and Cabinet Member for HR/VP Catherine Ashton and SG/HR Javier Solana. He also directed the transatlantic programme at the Centre for European Reform. He holds a DPhil from Oxford and an MA from Leiden
