Washington Fellow at the Institute for Peace and Diplomacy, the author of the book “The Formless Empire: A Short History of Diplomacy and Warfare in Central Asia”, and a former researcher at the U.S. Department of State. He holds a Ph.D in International Relations from the University of St Andrews.
