India–Singapore Joint Military Exercise ‘Bold Kurukshetra 2025’ Begins in Jodhpur

What happened?

The 14th edition of the India–Singapore Joint Military Exercise, ‘Bold Kurukshetra 2025’, commenced on 28th July, 2025 in Jodhpur and will continue until 04 August 2025. The exercise involves participation from the 42 Singapore Armoured Regiment of the 4 Singapore Armoured Brigade and the Indian Army’s Mechanised Infantry Regiment. Conducted as a Table Top Exercise and Computer-Based Wargame, it aims to validate operational procedures for mechanised warfare and will conclude with an Indian Army equipment display. The opening ceremony featured senior officers from both sides. Colonel Arjun Ganapathi leads the Indian contingent, while Lieutenant Colonel Khiew Zhi Yoong heads the Singaporean delegation. Brigadier Pritam and Colonel Wong Zeng Yu were present as chief guests. A symbolic handing over of the Regimental Flag by the 42 Singapore Armoured Regiment to the Indian side marked the formal transfer of command for the duration of the exercise.
