Sarabjeet S. Parmar, an alumnus of the National Defence Academy and Defence Services Staff College, was commissioned into the Indian Navy in 1987. A Seaking helicopter pilot, he has held key command and staff roles, contributing significantly to maritime security strategy and doctrine development. An accomplished researcher, he has served as a Fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses and is pursuing a PhD on maritime security architecture in the Indian Ocean and Western Pacific regions. Currently a Senior Fellow at the National Maritime Foundation, he previously served as its Executive Director from 2019 to 2022.
